Rezvani Fortress Is A $285,000 Ford Raptor With Armor And 850 HP

Key Points

  • Fortress-Rezvani
  • Rezvani’s Fortress transforms a Ford Raptor into a luxury, tactical super truck starting at $285,000.
  • Features include aggressive styling, military-grade armor, survival gear, and advanced off-road hardware.

Excess as a Business Model

California-based company Rezvani has spent years taking familiar SUVs and trucks and reworking them into something that feels halfway between a luxury off-roader, military transport, and a movie prop. Its formula? Start with an already capable platform, then pile on aggressive styling, oversized hardware, tactical accessories, and just enough drama to make even a factory performance truck look tame.

Rezvani’s latest project sticks to that formula. Called the Fortress, it starts at $285,000 and uses the Ford F-150 Raptor as its foundation, though you’d be hard-pressed to recognize it after all the changes. Rezvani calls it a tactical off-road super truck, built to handle both city streets and the kind of terrain most trucks would avoid. If the standard Raptor already feels excessive, the Fortress is for those who think there’s always room for more.

Tactical Looks Outside, Luxury Mixed With Survival Gear Inside

Visually, the Fortress is as tough as you can go,  with reinforced steel bumpers, integrated LED lighting, hood heat extractors, wide-body fender extensions, roof-mounted auxiliary lighting options, and beadlock-capable wheels wrapped in oversized all-terrain or mud-terrain tires.

Underneath all that styling, the upgrades are just as serious. Fox Live Valve suspension, long-travel components, beefed-up control arms, and adaptive damping are all on the list. There are selectable modes for sand, mud, snow, Baja, and rocks. Ground clearance tops out at 15 inches, approach angles hit 38 degrees, and it can wade through 45 inches of water – numbers that put it in rare company.

Inside, customers have a dozen seat options. However, if they want something tougher, optional ballistic armor brings military-grade protection, bullet-resistant glass, Kevlar for key systems, reinforced suspension, and run-flat military tires are all ready as add-ons. Basically, it’s a survival kit disguised as a luxury interior.

Of note, other options available include thermal night vision, smoke screens, electrified door handles, magnetic deadbolts, a siren and PA, a quick-access safe, and emergency gear like gas masks and first-aid kits.

Up To 850 HP, Starting At $285,000

Under the hood, there are two options. The standard engine is a 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 with about 450 horsepower, but if that’s not enough, you can opt for a 5.2-liter supercharged V8 with up to 850 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of torque. Both engines pair with a 10-speed automatic and full-time four-wheel drive, plus selectable terrain modes. Electronic locking diffs, crawl control, trail assist, and Baja-style suspension tuning round out the package for those who actually plan to use all that power off-road.

Pricing starts at $285,000 before you add any extras, so fully loaded versions will go much higher. For the handful of buyers who want a truck ready for dunes, blackouts, and just about anything else, the Fortress is built with them in mind.
